Summer Spark

June 29th & July 27th, 2025

The Polaris Summer Spark Retreats were intimate and heart-opening women’s wellness events – first at Miss Millie’s Flower Farm in June, and then at Homestead Harvest (a U-Pick Haskap and Flower Farm), both located just 25 minutes outside of Winnipeg. Attendees were warmly welcomed into serene and comforting settings where they spent the afternoon in connection with themselves and each other through grounding, creative, and reflective practices.

These seasonal wellness retreats blended nature, psychology, and community care to support women in transition. The day was intentionally structured to support attendees to explore growth and transformation through a mindfulness walk in through the fields and flowers, workshops with journaling and visualization, and a plan to encourage daily alignment to personal values and goals.

The Summer Spark Retreats were joyful and reflective days focused on abundance. Attendees explored how feelings of abundance arise for them, how societal forces shape their access to abundance, and how fears around receiving, worthiness, and identity may show up too. Through guided visualization, attendees practiced letting go of painful beliefs and envisioning their abundant life instead. Through value and goal setting, attendees created a morning alignment practice to help build their new vision each day.

Support for women was at the heart of these retreats. Intentional spaces for reconnecting with inner wisdom, these psychologist-led afternoons left each attendee with a sense of renewal and calm. The days each concluded with a self-picked bloom bar, a wellness workbook, and lots of comradery to bring home, inspired and ready for change.

Our summer retreats were met with glowing reviews, with participants unanimously awarding a 5‑star rating for the overall experience.

Spring Premiere Retreat - March 23rd, 2025

The Polaris Spring Premiere Retreat, hosted at FortWhyte Alive, was an extraordinary experience for those seeking deeper connection, personal growth, and renewal. Attendees stepped into a thoughtfully curated space where nature and inner exploration converged. With a grounding walk into the forest, symbolic meditation, and a focus on reflection and change, participants were invited to pause, reconnect, and embrace their personal journey.

A blend of introspection and community care, this retreat was designed to foster a sense of belonging, encourage new perspectives, and ignite the spark for positive change. In the company of like-minded women, we explored dominant and counter narratives, nourished our minds and souls, and nurtured our connection to self and others.

From the moment participants arrived, the setting was designed to support emotional and physical renewal. The natural surroundings became a co-facilitator, amplifying the impact of workshops and activities that focused on growth, change, and renewal. A symbolic planting activity served as a powerful reminder of the seeds we plant in our lives, and the importance of nurturing them with intention.

The retreat also offered opportunities for connection with others—both in silence and through storytelling. Attendees reflected on their internal patterns, gaining clarity and feeling inspired to embark on meaningful changes in their lives.
